The thesis consists of several parts, each of which has its own meaning. If the main part is devoted to the course of the research and the main results, then the conclusions must necessarily contain conclusions on the dissertation as a whole, the recommendations proposed by the author are described.
The introduction includes the main characteristics of the study, which should reflect the author’s qualifications and his ability to highlight the main and briefly formulate it, define practical value and be able to set realistic goals.
Introduction – a very important section of the thesis, which necessarily present:
- Purpose, tasks.
- The object and subject of analysis.
- Methodological base.
- Brought to the protection of the situation.
- Practical significance.
- Description of the structure of the thesis.
All the constituent elements of the introduction should be related to each other, and represent a single text, rather than broken down into separate parts paragraphs.
The relevance of the study shows the state of the problem today and determines the need for a study, formulates the essence of the problem and practical significance for the industry. Relevance is the basis for setting goals and objectives, the subject of the study and the sequence of solutions. When determining relevance, the description begins with a description of the industry in which the scientific problem is located, highlights the most significant problem, discusses the causes of occurrence, and decides whether the solution to this issue is relevant and what results it may lead to.
After determining the relevance of the topic is determined by the subject and object of study. Usually the subject comes from the name of the topic.
To determine the purpose of the research and define the tasks, it is necessary to proceed to the theoretical study of scientific materials of English and foreign authors. Questions that are related to the research topic are considered and a little-studied area is determined, which will be considered in the thesis.
The purpose of the thesis is formulated with the use of the phrases “develop”, “improve”. When formulating research tasks, you must have a ready dissertation plan before your eyes, because each task is usually solved for a paragraph or even a chapter of a dissertation. Setting tasks is carried out with the use of phrases: to identify factors, reveal the essence, analyze, develop.
Methodological base is a list of methods that will be required for the analysis.
Information base is the main sources of information used to conduct research.
The formulation of the hypothesis is an optional element of the introduction and is considered at the request of the author. The hypothesis is the main idea that forms the way to achieve the goal.
The provisions submitted to the defense by the author are part of the hypothesis. These may include methods, patterns that help to gain new knowledge.
The scientific novelty is obligatory for the thesis; in fact, it is for it that the degree is awarded. Can be described with just one sentence. For example, the development of methods that allow to solve the problem. Novelty should be interrelated with the topic of the thesis.
Practical significance includes information about the developments that the author has implemented on the enterprise, and the development should be new, not previously used by anyone.
Approbation contains information on reports, participation in scientific conferences that allow you to get acquainted with the results of the study.
